![]() Hopefully the community will also contribute some libraries that can simplify this even more like Bootstrap and jQuery have done. TTS and TP are too different, some objects (most importantly Asset Bundles) dont exist, and the placement of objects depends on the shape and size of the tables. But dont expect a program, that can migrate a game from TTS to TP completely. There are enough JavaScript examples online that I think non-programmers will have an easier time leveraging this as a scripting language. Creating games in TP is generally faster and less fiddly. Other platforms use LUA, but I found this language a bit unapproachable as a non-programmer. I feel that this approach has some significant long-term benefits. Second, the modding approach of TTP is innovative and leverages JavaScript as a scripting language. More competition will encourage more development, I think. So what drew me to Tabletop Playground (TTP)? Well, first and foremost I wanted to encourage development in this space as the tools we have today are good, but not great. I have created a variety of tabletop games over the years on a variety of platforms including Vassal and Tabletop Simulator.
